Forza Horizon Review PH | Why I don’t recommend it

If you’re in the Philippines and you’re thinking about buying the game Forza Horizon, you should read this article first.

I found about Forza Horizon since I was looking for a good game to play on my Logitech G29 steering wheel that I just bought. So I searched on google and many people are recommending Forza Horizon 4. I bought it right away and waited hours for it to download since it was 80 GB if I can remember it right.

I bought the standard version of Forza Horizon 4 from Microsoft store for $29.99, that’s more or less 1,500 PHP.

My First Impressions of Forza Horizon

I’ve only tried 2 games with my steering wheel setup which is Dirt Rally 2 and Forza Horizon. These are two of the most recommended games I found on the internet for a steering wheel setup. When it comes to the graphics, realism, and gameplay I like the Forza Horizon more than Dirt Rally.

The only thing I didn’t like about Forza Horizon

Upon playing the game I found out that you are driving on the left side of the road. So if you live here in the Philippines, you’re probably accustomed to driving on the right side of the road. Playing this game would mess up your brain on which side of the road you should be in.

When I’m playing the game, I always forget that I should be on the left side so I always bump to other vehicles coming from the right side.

Forza Horizon is a really great and realistic game I have to admit but personally, I would prefer a game that lets me drive on the right side.

Conclusion

So for the question do I recommend the game Forza Horizon or not, my answer is yes and no.

I do not recommend it if you are a driver or you drive a car in real life. This is just my personal opinion though.

I recommend buying the game if you don’t care about the fact that you will be driving on the left side of the road. Especially if you are not driving a car in real life. And of course, if you don’t mind spending 30 bucks for a game.

After all, Forza Horizon, in my opinion, is still the best racing game for a steering wheel like logitech g29 when it comes to graphics, gameplay, and realism.
